Model 92 Production Figures
The ultimate goal of the database is to generate accurate production figures for the various grades and jewel configurations found in the Model 92. In making the results of the research to date available, I must stress that this is an ongoing project. As serial numbers are added to the database changes in production figures sometimes occur. Any information you find here should be used as a guide only. If you compare a watch to a table and you find a discrepancy, please let me know. It may be new information and it may be that you found an error. Either way, it moves the database towards being more accurate. More grades will be added as time goes on.
The tables follow this general format;
| Serial | End | ActualBeg | ActualEnd | NIR | Jewels | Style | Variation | Production |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 7902501 | 7903000 | 7902801 | 7902900 | 100 | 21 | O.F. | 2 | Var 2 100 |
The Serial and End columns are the serial number runs from the Gray Book. The ActualBeg and ActualEnd columns are what the research points to as the actual runs where a given grade of movement occurs. The NIR column is the number of movements in the actual run. Jewels and Style are obvious. The Variation column indicates the movement variation for that row's serial number run. The Production column lists the total number of watches for that variation-if there are 3 runs in a given variation, this is the total for all three runs.
